4) Backup Registry: Taking up a backup of the registry would always allow you to access a registry in case if it crashes. All you need to do is copy the registry settings or better still make a backup of the same in a folder of your own choice.
Click Start and type ‘regedit’ in the Search box
Select File on the top menu bar and click Export.
Choose a destination folder for the backup files. You should click the ‘All option within the Export Range’. Once done, this method would end up backing the registry to its original destination folder.
